Full Itinerary
Day 1 - Okavango Delta
You will be met by a Big Safari Company representative at Maun International Airport and transferred by charter flight to Bushman Plains Camp.
Bushman Plains is an authentic, intimate camp in the heart of the iconic Okavango Delta; a huge wilderness area dominated by peaceful waterways and stunning landscapes. The camp is operated and owned by Bushmen and Bushmen guides and trackers work as a team to deliver exclusive game viewing. Bushmen from Gudigwa Village visit the camp to share their culture with guests, via storytelling, music and dancing and you can also learn about survival skills and traditions on cultural walks.

Optional activities: helicopter flight across the Delta with a bushman guide, who will explain rock paintings at Tsodilo Hills or a hot air balloon ride.
Day 2 - Okavango Delta
Game drives are in open-sided vehicles, and feature a guide and tracker team, with the tracker greatly enhancing the experience by being able to focus on finding and following fresh predator tracks. Night game drives increase the chance of seeing wildlife during their most active time - sometimes the lions that are sleeping all day get on the move once darkness falls.

Day 3 - Okavango Delta
Unlike most safari camps our drives do not have to be confined to staying in the vehicle. You are with the masters of the bush, and they will share with you their phenomenal tracking skills. If you are keen, you can take to foot along with your guide/tracker team to learn about the tracks they are following.

Day 4 - Okavango Delta
After breakfast transfer to Pelo Camp by light aircraft.
Pelo means heart - a fitting name as from the air this island is heart shaped and is situated deep into the heart of the delta. This intimate, eco-friendly camp is ideal for the adventurous traveller wanting a traditional Okavango Delta experience.

Day 5 - Okavango Delta
As the camp is located on a small island surrounded by permanent water, activities focus on this and include mokoro (traditional canoe) excursions, fishing and boating (subject to water levels). Walking safaris are also on offer to see the flora and fauna of the Delta or enjoy simple relaxation in the incredible, peaceful landscape that surrounds you.

Day 6 - Okavango Delta
Depart the camp after breakfast for your flight back to Maun for your onward international connection home.
